Are there any ongoing costs?
Hosting is $150 per year after the first year, which includes your SSL certificate. Beyond that, WordPress updates and maintenance are optional: you can take an ongoing maintenance plan from $100 per month, or pay for one-off maintenance as needed. There are no other recurring costs.
Who keeps WordPress updated and secure?
WordPress needs occasional updates to stay secure and running well. These are not included in the $1200. You can take an ongoing maintenance plan with us from $100 per month, or ask us to handle updates on a one-off basis as needed. Either way, we will make sure you know the cost before any work is done.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The design and content are yours.
How long does it take?
Around 2 weeks from the point we receive your initial deposit, your completed design brief and your content, meaning your logo, copy and images.
What if I need more than one page later?
The single-page site is a great starting point, and you can move up to a full multi-page website whenever you are ready. Multi-page builds start from $3,400, though because your home page is already designed, we can often just add the extra pages for less. We will always give you a quote up front before any work begins.
How many revisions are included?
One round of revisions on the design before we launch, so you can request changes and we will refine the site before it goes live.
Will my site work on phones?
Yes. Every site we build is mobile and tablet responsive, so it looks and works well on any screen.
Is the $1200 price really all-inclusive?
The $1200 covers the design and build of your single-page site, including GST and your first year of hosting. The only thing that changes the price is if you ask for extra features beyond the standard scope, and we will always quote that up front.
