The site we built for the Chiropractic Spinal Decompression Clinic in Kingsgrove evokes a calm, centered, healing vibe. Keen to Design utilised a soothing sage-to-mint green gradient in a curved graphical element on all top-level pages, with a bright lemongrass-coloured hover effect on navigational menu items for easy textual differentiation.

Note that in a few cases—primarily the home page and the page about Spinal Decompression Therapy—the background images and video in that header graphic echo the lemongrass colour, either in the leaves of the trees or the graphical depiction of spinal nerves.

Casual users may not notice this, but it helps create a more unified aesthetic for a site. Since the CSD Clinic is a service-based business, contact information is crucial for its continued success. That’s why Keen to Design included contact information on every page, as well as on a separate, dedicated “Contact Us” page.

The prominent display of the telephone number in the header, along with a stylized phone icon in the same colour as the basic scheme, draws the user’s eye up and to the right, while the footer-area content box with content information anchors the eye at the bottom of the page. The result: the user’s impulse to call is reinforced at the beginning and again at the end of each browsing experience. Anecdotal evidence suggests this change can actually positively affect contact percentages as a conversion event.
